Purpose Statement

“iGP is a missional agency committed to more than just sending missionaries—we exist to cultivate a missional mindset in individuals and churches. Our mission is to encourage, challenge, equip, train, and commission all disciples of Jesus Christ to engage in God’s global mission actively. Through strategic partnerships, we empower believers to live out their calling and work together to fulfill the Great Commission.”

Missional and its meaning for us:

o God has a mission for the world He created.

o God loves the world He created. He wants to save the world. (John 3:16)

o God’s mission of saving the world includes sending His Son to die for the sins of the world.

o Jesus’ death on the cross completes the requirements for salvation; however, the work of salvation is not complete.

o God’s mission to save the world is initiated by His Son (Jesus, who is the Christ), but the completion of this work is commissioned to all disciples of Jesus. (Matthew 28:18-20)

o Disciples of Jesus Christ are not only saved by His death on the cross but (through His resurrection) are commissioned to continue the mission He started.
